Please email matt@audiobrighton.com with your deails and a description of your DJ style, genre and influences along with a link to a 30 minute mix.  We are inundated with DJ requests but please bear with him, he will endeavour to get round to listening to all samples.

Check our calendar for event and ticket links. If there isn’t a link then please contact the venue via info@audiobrighton.com with details of the event you are trying to purchase tickets for and we will point you in the right direction.

For all of events we hold back a number of tickets to be sold on the door. These are sold on a first come first served basis so please ensure you arrive at the start of the event to buy tickets on the door.

Live gigs are predominantly restricted to 16 years and older while all club nights are strictly over 18's only.  Please check event details on the calendar if you are unsure.

In Above Audio we can accommodate under 18's until 9pm as long as they are accompanied by a responsible adult.

We ask for photographic identification from everyone that attends the venue no matter how old you are, we are not always checking your age but also where you may be from.  We only accept passports, driving licenses and international identification cards as valid forms of identification.

We do not accept NUS cards, PASS cards or out of date passports and driving licenses.

Above Audio is open Monday - Thursday from 4pm until 2am | Friday 4pm - 3am | Saturday 2pm – 3am | Sunday 2pm – 2am

Audio is open Tuesday – Saturday from 11pm until 3am during the week and 4am on weekends. 

We do not book bands ourselves, instead we usually use local promotion companies to manage all live bookings in the venue. Their contact details are here:

It is completely free to book a table/area in the bar and we also offer a number of packages for preordering drinks. Use our enquiry form to tell us your requirements and enquire about drinks options.

We are primarily a 'dress down' venue and accept everyone's fashion sense as their own.  We do however draw the line at tracksuit bottoms and fancy dress.

We do not take birthday bookings for birthdays under the age of 21.

We reserve the right to refuse admittance to anyone deemed unsuitable for the venue or too intoxicated on arrival.  Please remember we serve drinks not drunks.

There is a guest list for most of our midweek nights which is managed via Facebook event pages. Check our calendar for details. Guest lists for our larger events are reserved for DJ’s and friends of the venue only.

Yes we do, please email ilostmorethanmymarbles@audiobrighton.com describing what it is that you have lost and where you think you lost it.  If you left your item in the cloakroom then please let us know your cloakroom ticket number.  Alternatively you can call the venue on 01273 606 906.

Items left at the venue will be held for 4 weeks before being donated to charity.

Details of mobile phones found are emailed to the local police and held onsite for collection.
