Karma Kid

Kids these days, it used to be all video games, binge drinking and anti social behaviour, these days it seems to be more internet forums, blogs and producing. This is not necessarily a bad thing. There is a plethora of new wave producers coming out of the UK currently all at a very young age, at only 17, Karma Kid fits firmly within these parentheses. It would be churlish to try and fit his productions into one genre, mainly because this would be limiting the scale and diversity of what this young prodigy is capable of. There are elements of house, garage and bass all splintered throughout his tracks, of which there are not a huge amount so far. There is a consistent energy throughout all of Karma Kid's production that which is refreshing, there is no deep house head-nodding to be had here. The freshness of Karma Kids tracks have led him to have support from Annie Mac, Zane Lowe and Pete Tong.

You can catch Karma Kid @ Audio Brighton on Friday 22nd September for our 8th birthday showcase.
